Our Approach

Making space
memorable.

Illusion. Texture. Ornament. Story.

Every commission begins with the character of the room — its light, rhythm and material palette. Artwork is developed in dialogue with clients and designers, then translated by hand across walls, panels and architectural surfaces.

Nothing is printed, tiled or applied from a roll. Each piece is resolved on site, adjusted to the proportion, texture and viewing angle of the room it belongs to.

01
Composed for the room

Motifs scaled to mouldings, recesses, shutters and furniture.

02
Executed by hand

Paint, plaster and low-relief sculpting, worked directly on the surface.

03
Finished on site

Colour and depth corrected under the room's own light before sign-off.

See the disciplines

“Light is the final material.”

Low-relief surfaces shift through the day, allowing shadow to reveal the work gradually.

Selected Works

Eight ways to change a wall.

From panoramic landscape murals to hand-sculpted relief and gilded ornament — each discipline is offered as a bespoke commission, developed for your site.

Panoramic landscape mural with deer and birch trees
I — Narrative Walls

Landscapes that open the room.

Perspective, foliage and layered colour extend the architecture beyond its physical edge. A corridor gains distance; a blank end-wall becomes a window onto somewhere else.

Acrylic on prepared wallFull-heightMatte or satin seal

Best for: living rooms, stairwell walls, headboard walls, restaurant feature walls.

Painted branches, blossoms and birds across panelled walls
II — Botanical Rooms

A quiet garden, indoors.

Painted branches trace the panel rhythm while birds and blossoms bring warmth to a restrained interior. Fine stems and deliberate breathing room turn an overlooked corner into a gentle focal point.

Fine-brush botanicalPanel-aware layoutMuted or full colour

Best for: bedrooms, dressing rooms, entrance foyers, powder rooms.

Circular peacock medallion painted on a fluted doorway
III — Painted Portals

A doorway becomes art.

A circular composition anchors the fluted portal: twin peacocks, sunflowers and dense foliage balanced as a single emblem. Doors, arches and thresholds are treated as the room's jewellery.

Medallion & border workTraditional motifsHand-mixed pigment

Best for: pooja room doors, main entrances, arched openings, partitions.

Seven horses hand-sculpted as a wall relief
IV — Sculpted Relief

Light is the final material.

Low-relief surfaces are built up by hand and shift through the day, allowing shadow to reveal the work gradually. Seven horses, rock forms, figurative panels — modelled directly onto the wall.

Hand-sculpted reliefMonochrome or tintedIntegral to the wall

Best for: living-room feature walls, lobbies, reception backdrops, stair landings.

Gilded leaf and blossom motif inside an arched niche
V — Gilded Niches

Ornament that catches the light.

Metallic leaf and blossom drawn onto arched recesses and alcoves. Restrained in colour, generous in shimmer — the motif reads differently at every hour.

Gold & bronze leafArch & alcove workHand-drawn line

Best for: niches, mandir alcoves, bar backs, console backdrops.

Carved decorative panels with elephants and peacocks
VI — Panels & Screens

Art, built into the interior.

Motifs are scaled to mouldings, recesses, shutters and furniture so the artwork feels native to its setting. Carved panels and painted screens can be made in studio and installed complete.

Carved & cast panelsStudio-madeFree-standing or fixed

Best for: room dividers, wardrobe shutters, headboards, feature joinery.

Traditional figurative devotional painting in gold and blue
VII — Icon & Memory

Ornament with meaning.

Figurative and devotional work, composed to hold both narrative detail and architectural presence. Traditional iconography rendered at a scale the room can carry.

Figurative paintingGold detailingTraditional idiom

Best for: pooja rooms, family shrines, heritage interiors, hospitality lobbies.

VIII — Studio Works

The canvas as a world of its own.

Framed and stretched works painted in studio, for clients who want the hand of the artist without a permanent commitment to the wall. Sized to the space it will hang in.

Best for: collectors, gifting, apartments, rented interiors.

Built by Hand

From line to surface.

Each piece is resolved on site — adjusted to the proportion, texture and viewing angle of the room.

Why Archi-Texture

Six reasons designers keep calling.

One hand, start to finish

The artist who draws the concept is the artist on the scaffold. Nothing is handed off to a production crew.

Designed for your room

No catalogue repeats. Every composition is drawn against your elevations, mouldings and furniture lines.

Painting and sculpting

Flat mural, low-relief or both in one wall — the technique follows the idea, not the other way round.

Clean, contained sites

Work is masked, sheeted and cleared daily, so an occupied home stays livable through the commission.

7–10 working days

Standard execution timelines are typically 7–10 working days, depending on scope — agreed before we start.

Designer-friendly process

Concept sketch, colour direction and a sample panel are approved before the first mark goes on your wall.

The Process

Six steps, no surprises.

Bespoke finishes are developed to suit the client and designer's vision — through a sequence that keeps cost, colour and calendar visible at every stage.

01

Conversation

We talk through the room, the light, the palette and what the wall needs to do.

02

Site reading

Measurements, surface condition and viewing angles recorded — in person or from your drawings.

03

Concept sketch

A drawn composition laid over your elevation, with colour direction, for approval.

04

Quote & schedule

A single transparent figure and a dated working window. No stage billing surprises.

05

Surface preparation

The wall is made good, primed and masked — the part that decides how the finish ages.

06

Execution & reveal

Painted or sculpted on site, corrected under the room's own light, sealed and handed over.

Collaborations

Where the work lives.

Archi-Texture works directly with homeowners, and alongside architects, interior designers and contractors as the surface-art partner on a project.

Residential

Living rooms, bedrooms, pooja rooms, stairwells, entrance foyers and painted joinery for private homes and apartments.

Hospitality

Feature walls, reception backdrops and narrative murals for restaurants, cafés, boutique hotels and banquet spaces.

Commercial

Lobbies, reception areas, clinics and offices where a hand-made surface does more than branded graphics can.

Designers & Architects

Drawn to your elevations, coordinated with your contractor, delivered inside your programme.

The Studio

Hyderabad, and wherever the wall is.

The studio is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, where canvases, panels and sample boards are made. Mural and relief commissions are executed on site — across the city, and travelling for projects elsewhere in India.

FAQs

Before you commission.

Hand-painted murals, low-relief sculpted walls, painted and carved panels, gilded niche ornament, painted joinery, and studio canvases. If it is a surface inside a building, it can usually be treated.

Yes — every commission is bespoke. Bring a reference, a memory, a colour, or nothing at all; the concept sketch stage is where it gets resolved, and it is approved by you before any work starts on the wall.

Standard execution timelines are typically 7–10 working days, depending on scope. Large or multi-wall projects and heavy relief work are scheduled individually, with the working window fixed in the quote.

By area, technique and detail density — a fine-line botanical and a full sculpted relief are very different pieces of work. You receive one transparent figure covering materials, labour and sealing before the commission is confirmed.

The surface must be sound and dry. Making good, priming and masking are handled as part of the commission — it is the stage that decides how well the finish ages, so it is never skipped.

In most cases, yes. The work zone is sheeted and masked and cleared at the end of each day. Relief work generates more dust than painting, and that is flagged at the quote stage.

Yes. Out-of-city commissions are quoted with travel and stay included. Studio-made panels and canvases can also be crated and shipped anywhere in India.

Painted murals are sealed and can be dusted with a soft dry cloth. Sculpted relief needs only a soft brush. Care notes for your specific finish are handed over at completion.
